2 wrongs dont make a right.
Was she a jerk? Yes.
Were you a jerk in return? Yes.
You can behave in a dignified way when someone is a jerk. It's called being mature and not REACTING and managing your OWN behaviour. No one MAKES you act a certain way. You are in control of YOU.
So...was it mean? YES
Either way,you want nothing to do with her so why not walk away without stooping to her level.Too late now but maybe in the future you will make another choice.
Obviously, you arent too pleased with yourself or you wouldnt be asking the question but hey, we all sometimes let someone get a rise outof us and we behave in a way that we arent too proud of even though a million people will say"yeah, she deserved it buddy right on" but the gentleman inside you KNOWS it wasnt right.
The measure of a man is how he behaves during the tough times. Any man can be sweet when he is not angry.....duh!
It's when you feel upset and how you handle yourself then that matters.
I am sure many people will tell you what you did was fine.
There in lies the problem.

More like childish and immature. Name-calling and ugly words/sentiments are what little kids do because they don't know a better way of dealing with things that upset them. If you are over 5 or 6 yrs old, you should be well beyond that type of behavior.

Calling her a tease was OK, but dropping the F-bomb just wasn't necessary. I'd apologize if I were you.

Yes... it was mean.

Turn the other cheek, learn a lesson and walk away. Be a bigger man, why lower yourself to name calling?

yes, it was mean and reflects badly on you (not what you intended).

A few key words are in order: Politeness and Civility (regardless of whether they deserve it).
