Each states laws may vary in this situation. There is such a thing as harboring a run a way, arrested for this, yes. If your a adult, some states might call it contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Call the local Police and ask, this is your best bet, and be sure your protected, they will not come out and arrest you for calling and asking a question. My state, at 17, most of the time, most circumstances, police will not and cannot force a 17 year old to go back home.

If you are just going to "live" I think that is OK.
But if you are planing on full live in benefits such as sex, you may want to wait till 18.

you can be if they ran away, and are filed as missing. Then you can goto jail for harboring a runaway.
