It is a general observation that women tend to believe in God and religion far more than men, why is it so?
Females out number males in this area, any reasoning?

yes, probably because religions tend to focus on community and women usually have stronger sense of community than men.

Who made religions, god ? Men. The females do not believe the male because most of the religion is male dominated. The females are so fed up of male, they go and seek help from god.

Simple, there are more women than men to begin with. Women live longer so there's more of them. Men tend to die more frequently than women at an early age due to stupidity, war, and accidents. I know about as many women who think the whole god story is just a pile of crap as I do men. Its just a matter of the base numbers.

yes i have heard that females out number men simply because its easier for a female to submit to God than it is for a male. Somehow a male thinks the world will see him as weak.

That is unique to our culture. In Greek Orthodox countries, for example, the opposite is true - the males tend to be more religious than the females.

This all Depend upon a womens Culture & Their family, Ya they do so bcoz the reason is even u & I think so everyone knowns that i women he is not gonna live long life with her family so she has to take care of her family and there opinions.If She want still she can't

i do not think that because i go to church every sundays and wendnedays and their is a lot of guys their so no females do not out number males in this area you should try going to metro baptist church is over in bellville michigan

I think men try to have everything figured out with tangibles and with God it's impossible to please him without faith so it goes against their nature to trust what they can't see. Remember Thomas the disciple that said he wouldn't believe Jesus had risen until he had touched where they nailed his hands and where they speared him in the side?

Females believe in god/gods more because they are generally less intelligent then males. Even if they happen to be booksmart they normally tend to lack common sense.
