I'm a Christain and very proud of it, but how dare you (and you know who you are) group me together with every other Christian out there. I don't judge every black person on the entire race, nor the muslims OR any one else for that manner. What is the deal with these whiny, angry people on here that want to blame all their problems on one group of people. Get to know someone before you throw them into a group and judge them!
How do you feel?

They are known as EXTREMISTS ! They intend to just thrash and harm any one who gets in their path. I am a Muslim and to say the least i am shamed of people ( won`t mention any names ) who are making us look so bad. We are just ordinary people like any one else. People are wrong when they judge others upon their GROUPS, CASTS, or their RELIGION. If you are talking about small company groups than there`s an old saying that goes, "A man is known by the company he keeps". By the way i too have a large group of friends. Some are Christian, one is a Hindu and others are Muslims belonging to different casts. But we never talk on that matter. So u would just have to Ignore them and live on with your life. If you want to do something about it then you need to start some kind of group against these people. Let me tell you if that`s the case then i`ll be the first person to join you !
Pleasure to HELP !

It is completely normal and natural to have others judge you based on group association. "Guilt by association" is something that happens daily. Whether you make the assumption that the man in the expensive suit and car is the CEO of some major corporation, or the guy in the ragged clothes holding out his hat is nothing but a worthless bum, human beings makes these kinds of judgments all the time.

Your challenge is to show how you are a member of a particular group but a creative individual within it.

Mostly post-adolescents who are old enough to figure out that they can believe whatever they want, but too young to have met any kind of cross-section of the population. I was raised in a fundamentalist Church, and took me a few years and a couple of trips around the world before I figured out that my little clan was the exception, not the rule. Most who feel like Christians are always shoving religion down everyone's throats are just rebellious teens who are constantly pressured by parents and church members. Once they get out in the real world for a few years it will take that piss and vinegar out of them.

(You can usually spot them by their ignorance of history and their poor grammar and spelling - anyone over 30 was probably taught basic communication skills and world history in elementary school. As you know, the modern school system tends to teach nothing but ideology.)

I feel you are right, unfortunately there are many Chritians on YA who are pious, self -righteous and spew religious intolerance. You know the saying "One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch" The bad apples are ruining it for the Christians who are caring and tolerant. But every group gets lumped together, so don't sweat it. I am Buddhist and have had my fair share of unfounded criticism.

I agree. It seems that people are attacking christianity on a whole; thereby becoming hypocrytes for doing exactly what they accuse the religion of.

I don't agree with any extremist philosophy. And alot of christians have been impossing their beliefs on those around them lately. But that doesn't mean the religion should be accused for the misgivings of individuals.

Hurray!! The Christians are finally deviding themselves apart. What could be better news? Just out of curiosity, I wonder why you feel the need to be separated from the "other christians" out there? I thought the idea was to all be with Jesus together? By the way, you do CHOOSE your religion you know, blacks don't choose their skin color so there is a basic difference.

The problem with stereotypes is that so many people live up to them. You have to admit the average "Christian" is judgemental, rude, and altogether 'Holier-than-thou".

It all starts with the fact that Christians believe they have *The Answer* and they know *THE* truth. Everyone who doesnt believe what they do is destined to burn in Hell. How can you expect someone to be open-minded when a basic belief of their religion is that everyone else is wrong?

because you're to blame of preforming a hasty generalization. the gang has a consensus as their credo or determination or regardless of, yet interior that crew there are actual many assorted reviews with reference to the problem handy. So judging through the gang is a disservice to the persons who make up that crew.

Amen sister . You have us Christians to back up your statement !! And I agree, no one on here knows me, yet they group me in with the 'extreme fringes' of Christianity .
And they claim that 'we' are responsible for the crusades and everything else that happened in long ago history .

Because Christians
as a group,
bottomline,
consign everyone else to H***
as a group: Non-Christians
Therefore I judge your group as wrong .
As a group!
Your Group leaves me no alternative!
