I am 16 years old and I skateboard sometimes 9 hours a day. This last week, I have severe pain in my upper thigh and hip. It hurts when I lift it. Sometimes I have to use my hands to lift my leg so I can stand, sit, etc.. What should i do?

It sounds like a groin or muscle pull. You may have strained the area from skating so much. My suggestion is, if you cant handle the pain see your doctor he may prescribe you 800mg Ibuprofin. If you do not wish to seek any kind of medical attention, try lying down for long periods of time stay off of it as long as possible and absolutly no skateboarding untill the pain is resolved. If pain continues after home care, you should consult your physician.

Sounds like the early stages of Daemonic possession.

No in all honesty you should see a doctor. You could have damaged the muscles, ligaments, hamstring etc in your leg.

The Daemonic possession is just my british sarcastic humour coming out to say hello.

That sounds rather serious, when you have to use your hands to lift your leg because it hurts so bad. You should go see your doctor...and lay of the skating until then.

Im sorry to tell you, but it sounds like you have developed terminal homethepio inside of your bone marrow. Its caused by too much pressure on the legs. If i were you I would immediatly ask a doctor about surgery. It can be deadly.

I think your muscles are just adjusting. I had the same feeling when I joined the track team. Everwhere ached even my butt ached. Just rest for a bit. It's be gone in a day or two.

you pulled a muscle. Take it easy and let it heal. It needs a rest and the pain might go away within a week or so.

Sounds like you need to go to the doctor, but if you are anything like my husband you probably wont go, so for sure stay off of it for a while. Obviously something is wrong with it.
