Any suggestions on where would be a really good place to apply to work full time? I began a levels at 6th form in september but after 2 months I quit. I didnt enjoy it one bit. I've been unemployed for a while now and I'm eager to get a job. Especially one that I will enjoy as if you have seen my other questions you'll know I'm quite insecure and self concious (also that I'm on the look out for a girl friend :-) ) So I suppose a somewhere that I may meet a nice girl around my age too.

Anyway I'd appreciate all reasonable suggestions

Thanks again!

if your only 16 just go and apply for loads of jobs. if you don't like one you get, just quit like you did college. its no big deal. just put it on your CV as experience. try some of everything. office jobs, phone jobs, sales jobs...

and never never look for a girl at work!!! you are unlikely to form a lasting relationship at your age and will have to work with the girl when its all gone wrong... not good. trust me.

and in response to the ppl who said you've messed your life up.. ignore them. i stayed in college, got alevels, went to uni, got a degree, stayed on at uni, got a post-grad diploma and all i've got at the moment is stress and debt.

go for something that interests you and work your way up in it. in the time you would have taken to stay in education, you'll probably be a manager or something.

further education is not for everyone.

If you like to read, I'd suggest reading some classics. My favorites are Sound and the Fury : William Faulkner 100 Years of Solitude : Gabriel Garcia Marquez And not really a "classic" but an amazing book to challenge how you think Life of Pi : Yann Martel (Note : I read all these in high school but i was an advanced reader, they are a little more college or honors level)

why don't you try your local connexions office, they have lots of jobs for young people, they also offer lots of very helpful advice on what be suitable for you, how about an apprenticeship's through your local college, or go back to college and learn a trade, i.e plumbing, electrician, mechanic, this would also help boost your confidence, and at the same time you would meet new people, maybe even a girlfriend

good luck!!!!!! hope this helps

You could always take an apprenticeship as a mechanic . You would get to deal with peronnel ( girl friends ) and get a better salary while your leaning. you could look at other apprenticshipes such as builders or ( dare i say it ) hairdressing .
