Well, I coach cheerleading, and when we went to competition, I gave them all "spirit bags" filled with inexpensive things and attached the recipe for success to it - here are some of the things I included, maybe you'll find something you can use:
Water-to quench your thirst for victory
Extra Gum - for going the extra mile
Smarties - because you are smart to be a cheerleader!
Puzzle piece - to remind you that the picture isn't complete without you in it!
Laffy Taffy- to remind you to have fun!
Now n Laters - to help you savor this time now and remember it later!
2006 Penny - for luck
Tootsie Roll - to help you roll over the competition
Crunch Bar- it's "crunch time" at competition!
Blow Pop - to help you blow the audience away!
Gold Star - to remind you that you are a shining star on this squad
Mirror- so you can see yourself a winner!
Rubber Band- don't forget to stretch!
Band-aid - to soothe any hurt feelings
Raisins - to remind you to keep 'raisin the roof' on your goals!
Kleenex - to wipe away your tears of joy
Bubble Bath Beads - to help you to relax after a long day of competing.

Those are just some inexpensive things, but when I put them all together, it made a nice little pep gift for the squad. The girls really loved them, and it gave them something to enjoy all day. I made labels on the computer for the water bottles with our mascot and logo on them and tied a ribbon around the water bottle and then just used white lunch sacks that I decorated and tied shut with the same ribbon. Maybe you could use some of these ideas? I made up about 20 bags and only spent about 20 dollars, because I got everything at the dollar tree, where everything is only $1.00 and I did the labels myself on the computer. Hope you can use something here! Good Luck!

I loved Abba Zabba and Looks way back then. I would make my jaw sore from all that chewing. Oh, they were soooo good EDIT: a Look candy bar was a Big Hunk covered in chocolate. I liked the Big Hunk but there is something to be said about chocolate!.
