This guy flirted with me for weeks and then finally asked me to go out last weekend. He took me to an expensive restaurant, sat right up next to me, made lots of eye contact and smiled and made comments like "I bet you get hit on alot". We had a great time....At the end of the date, no hug or kiss but he said to call him if I ever wanted to hang out or see a movie. He knows I have been separated for a year and am going through a divorce. He has not called me since our date (although he did say Hello when I saw him a few days ago). I left a message for him to see if he wanted to hang out but havent heard from him.

I dont think he would have asked me out if he wasnt physically attracted to me. So, why didnt he at least hit on me or make a move? It just seems like things went so well and now nothing. I wonder if he is just taking things slow (very slow) until I am divorced but was surprised he didnt try to at least hook up. Any ideas?

Guys never want to be "just friends" with women they are attracted to. There could be a number of reasons he didn't hit on you, though. One likely reason is that you are still married. He could have also been concerned about your reaction if he were to hit on you.

Most likely, something happened during the date that caused him not to persue a relationship with you, although, it is possible that he is simply waiting for you to get divorced.

Sorry.

it incredibly is the place adult adult males go incorrect. there's a special distinction between a 'super guy' and a guy who's an entire pushover with out nuts. an incredible guy is liked by skill of the two women human beings and male friends and is respectful yet wont enable all people stroll throughout them, and particular, they may be an 'alpha male', yet many women will tell a boy who's an entire doormat, that he's an incredible guy, just to place him in the pal zone and do away with him.

Don't listen to these dummies who say that guys are only want to hook up and that guys and girls can't just be friends, because they can. Most of my friends are ladies, and I have no romantic inclinations towards any of them. I know there are other guys out there like me too, they're just not as easy to spot because we're generally the gentlemen that get overlooked because of the sex addicts out there.

In regards to the case you mention, it might be that he's trying to take things slow until your divorce is official.

ummm the only idea i could get is that maybe, yea, he thought you were atrractive and he might have felt something when he saw you, but after being around you maybe he didnt connect as well as he thought he was going to.

and for FYI not all guys will try to hook up wiht you just becuase your hot

to me being gorgeous isnt everything, liek yea it means alot bnecuase without that nobody would ever give you a chance but beauty will only take the relathionship so far.

I don't always think of adventuring into their pants.
O have many girl friends and they are only Friend. They even kiss me in front of my wife. But no sex with them. I never ever dream that. For sex I have different group of girls.

The fact that you are still married is probably the deterrent.
You should handle all of your unfinished business from your marriage,(i.e. divorce) and wait until it is complete before starting to date anyone.
It is still adultery on your behalf.

He is probably intimidated and feeling insecure. If you like him, let him know that there is no risk of rejection.
