I buy McCann's Irish Oatmeal in a white metal can with black and gold lettering (see picture)

I don't know where you are, but in New York, it's sold at Whole Foods, Food Emporium, Gristede's, most health food stores. In the supermarkets, it's near the Farina and Quaker Oats. If you can't find it, write or call McCann's and ask them where it's sold in your city.
Quaker makes steel cut oats; It's in a blue cylindrical box.

if you have a wegmans store near you they have it in their natures marketplace.
Any store should have a "natural foods" section. You will find it there - I never had them, I think that they are just very - healthy
