Physically harder, no. But it might be harde afterwards (sleep deprived, adjusting, etc). There could also be more complications due to age. If you want a baby, don't let age factor in. Pray for your child and don't worry. Worry never helped anything.

Giving birth is rough on a body at any age! A 20something person's body is more resilient, more able to handle it than a 30+ body.

Giving birth at any age is really painful and emotional, I don't think it is much different for anyone, I had my first child at 32 and my 2nd at 35 and I had no problems at all, delivered 2 beautiful and healthy girls. I actually think it was a little easier for me because I was old enough to have experienced pain, when I was really young I didn't know what pain was.
