How do you switch between programs and files in Microsoft Office?

Not sure I understand what you want to know. You don't need to bother with the program files. The files themselves should be your data files which you probably saved to My Documents.

open office up in a separate window and minimize it then open another program and do the same open each program in separate windows then as you move from one to the other they will move to the task bar, when you want to open a program go to your task bar and click on it
