I am a born again christian. I believe in god and his word, but I cant seem to stick to it. I want to stop doing some of the things that I feel is causing me to not have a relationship with him. I do many un holy things, but now I feel its time I put those things aside and get my relationship back with the lord. How do i gain my relationship with him even if I am a christian?

ok well praise God that you want to develop your relationship with Him, and its good that you want to change all the bad things about you, but remember of your own strength thats impossible, right now you are being Spiritualy formed into the image of Christ for the sake of others, but never forget that its Christ doing the forming, you can't do it for yourself but He is forming you slowly as long as you allow Him to take you on the journey. Think of it like this, when you spend alot of time with a best friend or spouse you pick up alot of their characteristics and become more like them, well its the same when you spend time with Christ, in prayer, study, and meditation. THe more you know Christ (and watch how I said know Christ not know ABOUT Christ) the more like Him you will become. So good luck and God Bless :)

Pray directly to God, please send me a teacher. I did and he sent me a guru from India. He baptized me in spirit and now I have unity with God in unconditional love. Jesus is not the only way to know God there are many on earth now with the same powers that jesus has. "God dwells within you as you." as the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods unconditional love.
