Wax, hurts just once and lasts a lot longer! if you bleach you can still see it its just not as obvious! you can do it urself, just go to walmart and get Nair COLD wax stips.. you can either rub it btwn ur hands to heat it up or use a blow dryer for a min or two and peal, press and pull. when pulling stretch the skin... as u pull this helps minimize the pain. then use the oil strips to remove excess wax and then cold water to cool ur skin. another great trick that i use (i have very very senitive skin and cant use hot wax from a salon bc it burns my skin) after using the cold wax, or any wax for that matter my skin gets red and i get small hives on my upper lip, use "carmex" brand chap stick on ur upper lip AFTER you cool down with cold water. it helps the stinging and for some reason the hives dont spread...must be the menthol and camphor in the ingredients. works like a charm every time...and i dont have to worry about doing it all the time just once a month! Hope this helps!

Waxing, but be careful. It can be tricky to learn but will be worth it. I use Dorothy Gray wax, I melt it on the stove, set the lowest temp, and watch it...get it slightly melted and then stir the rest so it won't be too hot. Wear an old shirt in case you drip, it will chip off the counters but is hard to remove from fabric. Put paper towels on the counter top (make cleanup easier, as you get better with it you won't have drips). Your skin has to be clean and dry (no make up or oils). Use a tongue depressor and dip a bit, test it somewhere less sensitive before putting it on your face, be really sure it is not too hot no matter where you put it, it should move but not flow like liquid. If you burn your skin apply ice imediately. Apply small sections against the direction of the hair, put a bit on your lip, apply it thickly, wait for it to cool. Lift the edge at the top of the wax, hold your skin tight with the other hand and pull the wax in the direction of the hair growth. It will sting a bit. It gets easier. Keep doing small sections until you are done. You really shouldn't wax if using RetinA, etc. Don't go over areas, you can take off to much skin. If you miss some hairs, tweeze them and then get them next time you wax. Once you learn how, you will have a life time of clean-lip. ;-)
Be careful with the mircowave waxes, I find them harder to guage for temperature. I use a small butter melting pan for my wax.

I've never had that much hair above my lip before, so I just bleach it because there is barely anything. I use that Nair thing.
Well, if you keep staring at it, then I'd probably say that it's best for you to wax it off. You could probably stop by the drug store and pick up one of those wax strips that you can cut and use to wax off the hair above your lip. Or you could go to the salon and have it done for you.
Bleach stings a lot of people, so just wax it off...just be aware it'll grow back faster and possibly thicker. (this happened to my friend)
Or you could try depilatory cream. It stinks, but it's not painful at all. I think that's the best solution to this. I also use the Nair depilatory cream.

Hair removal creams are good if you don't like pain, waxing is faster and lasts longer and bleaching can look too light against your skin some times. I suggest you try a couple things to find out what you like and then stick to something. I use a cream and it leaves the skin smooth and pores cleaned out as well. I like the avon hair removal. It comes in a little tube and has a chisseled tip so that it doesn't go all over your face and you don't even have to touch it to put it on.

It really depends on the hair.If the hair is the same length as the rest of the hair on your face but is dark, then it would make more sense to bleach it with something like Jolen cream bleach. If the hair is long and dark then get it waxed at a salon or use a depilatory cream like Nair or Veet that is for facial hair.An other choice is electrolysis but it is painful and can be expensive.
Hope I helped :)

I would recommend waxing. It's over and done in about 20 seconds. The bleach stinks and can burn your skin if left on too long or if you have sensitive skin. I am not sure what kind of wax to recommend b/c i have it done at the salon - i tried the Sally Hansen no heat wax strips, but was too chicken to pull it off myself.
Good luck! :)

If you just bleach it you will still see it every time you look in the mirror. If you're going to do anything wax it. You can get it professionally done.

Skin - So - Soft facial hair removal pen is great! its made JUST for facial hair removal and doesnt have that nasty smell and gross mess that other products have. If you wax, you'll get a scar above your lip and it'll get puffy. If you bleach, it just looks like you died you mustache (lol). Anyway, you can get this at Avon (youravon.com/remard) for only 6.00....or buy two hair removal products from Avon for just 9.00. If you care to order it it is item # 557-658. Get it while its on sale and have it shipped diectly to your door! visit youravon.com/remard
thanks!

i am a "pull the band aid off one hair at a time" person, so i can't imagine waxing! ouch! if the hair is just dark, and not really thick & noticable, you could just bleach. I use a sally hansen product, found at any drugstore or discount retailer (like target, for instance).

Most hair removal methods are temporary and painful.
Many people prefer to make their body and facial hair less noticeable by bleaching.
Detailed information about the effectiveness of bleaching is available at http://www.hairremoval.in/hairbleach.html
