I my son has allergies and asthma, and his dr just told me that I should not have him sleep under a fan. I didn't ask her why when I was there, but am now wondering. Thanks!

the fan stirs up dust and other particles that he would breath in and with having allergies and asthma that would be dangerous for him.
You may also need to get him the allergy matters and pillowcase stuff for his bed that helps keep any bed bugs from getting to him. We have that and a air purrifer going in our house to help my son. Good luck
