In all fairness, both men and women cheat! Men are more obvious and careless when it comes to it, hell, we even brag about it. Women on the other hand are discreet and rarely brag about their conquests.
But going to a more scientific explanation... it is in out genetic hard drive to seek as many partners possible in order to fill the earth with out progeny. conditioned social responses make us seem like true sluts but in all reality we are only following the designs of our species and gender. I am not justifying all men's extra-curricular activities but I am saying that women often magnify the social implications way too much.
There are many other factors involved in what you women call cheating. Why do you think men cheat? Do you think women have anything to do with it? Do you think that sometimes we men do it just to prove to ourselves that we can. Women often intermingle their romantic conditioned reflexes with the fact that they relate love to sex automatically. Men do not, for the most part. To us love and sex can exist totally separated. We can have affairs and stay perfectly loyal to the concepts of relationship as they should exist.

From a man that's been divorced 2 times and is on his 3rd marriage, I will give you the honest answer, because I finally fund out myself. My first 2 marriages were because of lust or the inability to realize that I was not really in love. I was cheating in both within 6 months because I didn't value what I had in those relationships! I didn't care if I got caught and lost it all! Now, I am on my 3rd marriage. We dated for 2 years before getting married and have been together for 9 + years. We have 3 children together and for the first time in my life, I feel like I would die if I did anything that caused my wife to leave me! Not because I would lose the children, house or money, but because I would lose the best half of me! That's why I do not cheat on this wife! That's why I do not go out to bars by myself or d anything that would even put up the appearance that I might be cheating! THE HONEST ANSWER TO YOU QUESTION IS NOT MEN ARE DOGS, HUNTING AND GATHERING, FEAR OF COMMITMENT, BECAUSE WOMEN CHEAT OR ANY OF THAT CRAP! THE ANSWER IS, IF A MAN VALUES HIS WOMEN, HIS FRIEND, HIS RELATIONSHIP, HE WILL NOT CHEAT! HE MAY BE TEMPTED AT LOW POINTS IN HIS LIFE, BUT HE WILL BE ABLE TO RESIST. IF HE CAN'T RESIST, HE DOESN'T VALUE YOU!!! Hope this helps.

In history man was never been thought of as being a monogamous creature and I think that is still true today. IT'S JUST NOT MEANT TO BE!!! If this is happening to you then I suggest you move one because that doesn't change for a person that cheats, it only get worst (catching then in your house, in your bed when you get home from work).

First of all, women cheat, too.
But to answer your question, we just get tired of having sex with the same woman over and over. We want to try something new and take a break. It doesn't change our feelings. It doesn't even mean anything to us, usually.

Men cheat because to men sex is like urinating. It is a body function. Men also have little respect for women today. Can't blame them women today don't comand respect. They fall into bed with every guy they date. They let men walk all over them and then say why??????? Why me?????????

Ok hun face it..70% of men will cheat if they will never get caught..but if you catch him cheating..DUMP HIM. Men can easily be attracted to any women, but if he truly loves you he wouldn't be cheating in the first place. Hope I helped :)

Cheaters cheat. Why do women go out with guys who are so likely to cheat? My player friend has women lined up to get their hearts broke and he is so obviously an insencere player, but he tells them everything they want to hear.

Why do women?
Truth is, there are alot of reasons.
It is one thing that is valid for us all, men and women, we are all sin-natured. This is just one of the many sins that both genders indulge in due to the temporary satisfaction of sex. Its mostly curiosity and lust on both ends.
