The main allied power was England. Even though Russia was an allie during the war. They neither trusted us nor England.

USSR, by a nose.
From the opening of Barbarossa, the Germans had 70 or 75% of its troops committed to fighting the Russians in an essentially European war. The RN and USN, and Bomber Command and the 8th USAF had an important impact, but probably not decisive, and the western allies' ground forces in Africa, the Med, and later in France had only two effects: to cut off the Axis from mid-east oil supplies, and as a diversion to take a few reinforcements away from the Red Army.
Against Japan, the Anzacs were to a large extent being misused as usual by the British and their contribution was overwhelmed by American numbers. The British were picking back at the periphery of their lost lands, and it was a largely American affair.
The US also gave a large amount of logistical and technical support to the Soviets, but the fact remains that the latter had the brunt of the fighting.

I agree with those who listed both the US and the USSR pretty much equally. However, as much as I try to be even handed with history, I must give the US a slight edge.
The USSR was able to withstand the initial Nazi assaults thanks partially to American material assistance through the Lend-Lease program. Soviet air power and motorized infantry couldn't have been as active without American supply of fuel and vehicles. Also, in the Pacific War, America bore the brunt of the burden, no doubt about it!

US and Russia.
To freethinker: Uh, I think the second front helped... for a while there the Russians were just throwing their bodies in the path of the Germans to stop them, and it worked, but throwing bodies none the less.
