Ok depending on which tooth hurts but if its the 1-4 or 2-4 which is count back to the forth tooth from the front teeth on both sides. (thats the easiest way) These teeth are close the the sinuses. If you have had sinus or a cold lately you will have pain when you walk or run. I get it all the time. It usually goes away in about 1-2 weeks if it doesnt then consult your dentist.

Have you had any sinus issues? If its a molar the roots go up into the sinus cavity and can copy a toothache. Try sitting down and bending over and touching your toes. If it throbs 9 times out of ten its sinuses.

See a dentist immediately. They say you can sit an aspirin on top of the tooth that hurts to stop the pain temporary. They also sell some stuff at your local drug store that in a tiny red bottle thats suppose to help toothach pain.

More than likely you have an infected root/nerve. You'll need a root canal. First the dentist will give you antibiotics to clean up the infection, unless the pain is unbearable, then he may go ahead and do the root canal on the spot. In any case, you need a dentist, as we cannot diagnose you over the internet.
