With an increase in greehouse gasses, holes in the Ozone and so forth, wouldn't it be a wise idea to create half year courses in environmental studies to teach kids at a young age to treat the earth more respectfully? We need to start teaching environmental responsibility to our kids, or the trends leading to climate changes and melting polar ice caps will never change....I don't have kids and I'm not an environmental conservationist freak....I think we need to start formal studies on what drove us to have holes in the Ozone and how to control greenhouse gas effects.

We do. It s incorporated into all science classes. There are science clubs in schools. We try. It needs the support of the parents. There are more and more students going to college for environmental degrees. It is still the adults that we need to reach.
