Well think about it this way: You have a best friend who happens to be a boy. He has a girlfriend, but you guys are so close, you can't NOT give him a christmas present. This could be the situation. But then again, this Ashley girl could have her eye on your guy. So just be careful and don't get to...over-protective. Trust is an important thing in a relationship.

Sounds like this friend is one who stands up for what she thinks is right and would harrass him to the ends of the earth for not getting his significant other a christmas present. So he lied.

WHAT????? Why did your friend a boy tell his girlfrined he got you a present or the other way around? either way who cares if you didn't buy him something stop being greedy. now if it was your boy frienf who told some girl that he bought you sometihj=ing & didn't then you should dumb him.
