I would never drink water before I was always a coke drinker. Then when I got pregnant w/ the twins my DR told me I had to start drinking water and cut out the sugar in my diet. So in order to have healthy babies, I completly stopped drinking all sodas, tea, juices and I only drink water now. I do have to have alot of ice and put a squirt of lemon juice in it. I drink all day and up to I go to bed.

It truly depends upon several factors.

I work out a lot (2-3 hours a day, 6-7 days per week).

I teach high school P.E. everyday (I'm not exactly the "donut/clipboard" type of P.E. teacher, so I'm fairly active most of the day).

I average about 48-50 oz. per day during the winter months.

I PLAN to average about double this amount during the summer months (I had kidney stones this past August; I've learned my lesson ...).

Have a Nice Day!

64 oz. But Ive read that you should take your body weight and divide it in half and that will give you the correct amount you need in one day, remembering that you also get water from what you eat as well.
