sarcasm can be nasty but is normaly funny...why do to many people take a lot of these questions seriously when they are obviously loaded with the lowest form of wit........or am i getting old?

If you're from the UK you will notice that a lot of irony is lost on the Americans on this site, who seems to take many things very literally. This isn't a pop at the good people of the USA, I'm merely making a point which I've noticed in the past. It's to do with the differences in the senses of humour, that's all.
P.S. I love sarcasm.

I agree with roxy, but i also think that perhaps some people can't tell that it is supposed to be sarcastic as they are just reading it off a comptuer screen, usually if you say something sarcastic to a friend you change the tone of your voice and they can tell you're being sarcastic, either that or they are just take everything way too seriously and need to lighten up,,,in any case i love sarcasm and perhaps i'm slightly too sarcastic...hmm x

You're getting old. PUNS are the lowest form of humor..Sarcasm is simply a chiding way of putting people down without them realizing it...at least if you're good at it.

Dont know about sarcasm it seems a bit nasty to me, but Ironic has somehow turned into ironical, according to the tele that is, but what do they know. Is that ironic and sarcastic enough for you??
