that I cannot work. I've done pain management, various Rx treatment regimens and still after almost 30 years, I cannot find relief. What has worked for you? Or, what are you aware of that I might suggest to my neurologist? Thanks.

Believe it or not, acupuncture. I see an allergist and take antihistimines and get allergy shots. I also take Fioricet (weird that this works well for me, but I don't question it). Also, I read about this in a Swedish newspaper about this prevention for migraine. Check it out and do some more google searches because it returns plenty of
articles.

Good luck!

The first thing you need to do is see your allergist and get the allergies under control if you are not currently doing that. Next get rid of all the toxic cleaning and laundry and personal products you have in your home. Switch to all natural products and get someone else to come in and thoroughly clean your home with the all natural products. Be sure you are taking a good mulitivitamin that your body absorbs well and a good antioxidant supplement as well as a good grape seed extract. You mentioned facial bone pain and that is consistent with sinus problems. Have they considered chronic sinusitis for a diagnosis and maybe tried some long term antibiotic therapy? As for preventative therapy there are tons of things to try but you said they have tried lots so I won't mention that here. I suffered from daily migraines for fifty years. Doctors just kind of Poo Poo, victims of migraine. After all it is just a headache, right?
Wrong, there is no worst pain. I had a breech birth and they said, "My you took that so well". Hey, after having migraine headaches, a breech birth is a piece of cake.
Finally they discovered I suffered from Byjemny, an irregular heartbeat and they put me on Verapamil. They started slow and finally put me on 240mg a day. Now this irregular heartbeat did not show up all the time, to find it they put me on a Holter monitor, for 24 hours. This medication not only corrected my heat beat, it had the added benefit of stopping my migraines.
Now this does not mean for any of you reading this, that you run right out and ask your doctor to put you on verapamil or any other heart medication.
But, we have pain for a reason, there is always a cause. Something that is wrong, and that is sometimes hard to find.
I had low hemoglobin, I now give myself Dexferrum to keep it a normal level. I eat right, no junk food. I go to bed the same time every night. And more importantly, I get up the same time each morning and eat breakfast. It is important to keep yourself on a good routine. Drink plenty of water, the brain should be hydrated.
I was taking a pain pill, but found out that I was rebounding. Now when I feel even a common headache coming on I drink 12 oz of water.
Be of good hope, there is a reason you are having migraines, and where you find that reason, the pain will stop.
I once wanted to die, but now I get up in the morning looking forward to life. There is a good source of information about migraine on Health boards.com too. Good Luck

This could be a re-accuring problem with sinus infections. Try seeing a pain clinic for options if the pain is chronic & wont go away.

Go to the doctor. Constant headaces are a sign of a brain tumor.

Have you tried monitoring your diet? I had the same type problems and found that certain ingredients in foods were causing it. Talk to your doctor about it.
