My husband has been on workmans comp since june 8,2006, we are filing married seperatly, can I claim him?

No. You must file as married filing separately which takes that into account.

Your tax would be lower if you file jointly.

no...and I would certainly check the benefits of filing married and joint...the deductions are far higher than any benefit your gonna get for filing seperate returns....
