No they won`t fade. Understand the principle of hair colouring;- When you want your hair darker than your natural colour you DYE it, dye will fade and eventually wash out. When you want your hair a lighter colour than your natural hair you BLEACH it, you actually take out the colour and leave a `bland` base. Bleached hair never washes out, you have to wait until the hair grows and can be cut off. This is what happens when you `go blond` or have highlights. To change the highlights you will have to put a dark dye on them, but if you dye your whole head, the highlights will always be a lighter colour, because they were bleached.

they will fade with time. I dont know if lemon juice will help or not put I put some purple in my hair and it looked horrid so I bough some lemon juice and it really faded the colour. So that may work, it may even keep the highlights from going that ginger colour. The only other thing you could do would be to dye over it but that may make it worse and too much my dye will ruin your hair.

they may fade, but I suggest using a toning shampoo. It is good for your hair and can purchased by hairstylist or at a local pharmacy. The shampoo is not harmful to your hair it simply helps you get rid of unwanted brasiness. The colour of the shampoo is violet or blue. You can leave it in your hair for about five minutes and rinse. Use it until you get the desired tone you would like or to refreshen a colour. Just metion it to your stylist they will know what you are talking about. I suggest you do not re-colour or add colour to your hair if you don't have to.

depends whether the colour was permenent or not, if its permenent it will fade slightly over the few washes but probably not fade asmuch as u want, if you want to cover it up i suggest buying a wash in wash out colour, it may only be temp but wont damage your hair and might tone down the highlights, if your wanting to keep the highlights at there best you could always buy hair extentions off ebay in the coulour you want, and easy to upkeep as they are clip in and most are human hair! hope that helps

I'm not sure if you're saying you want them out of your hair or if you want to keep them....?

If you want them out, use a regular, deep clarifying shampoo for a few weeks. It'll eventually wash out the color (like Suave Deep Clarifying Shampoo. It will wash the color out but won't strip your hair of moisture). Only condition twice a week.

If you DON'T want them to fade, wash you hair with a shampoo and conditioner made for color treated hair (Bath and Body Works Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner). Avoide using lots of hair products.

--------------

If you like the color but want the highlights out there's not much you can do. I know what kit your talking about (I have the same thing). You'll have to wash all the dye out of your hair and then redye it but not use the highlights.

go to a beauty store that sells hair products. You should use something that is a toner. Toners come in all shades. Toner only effects highlighted hair. It doesnt damage your hair and you can do it every few weeds when the hightlights become brazzy
