I would invite her out to a classic restaurant and just be yourself. You do not have to give her presents and as I said be yourself. If you are meant to be all will go well. On your next date take her for indian food, she will love it. Try to find a place with a buffet. I am american and I can say I LOVE indian food. I wish you luck.

You are not her boss by any chance are you? If you are, make sure one of u changes the job otherwise its illegal! Now... if she is your colleague and u want are interested in her too then ask her out.
If you are not confident enough to ask her out then perhaps write how you feel in a piece of paper and give it to her. If you are good with poems, write a romantic poem and wait for her response. If she wants to go out with you she will take it from there.... like what day u shud go out.... what place she wants to go etc

if you work with her first make sure there won't be a problem with dating a co-worker, then if not, take your lunch with her and just talk, if that works, go out after work, if that works, on the 2nd date, bring her one pink rose and ask her about herself, tell her about yourself and be nice and polite, and for pete's sake, don't try to grope her until the 3rd date

Well, if you were an American doc, you'd go far by showering her with expensive presents, jewelry, and fine restaurants.
I bet they do that in India as well.

at the start of a relationship chocolates and flowers are best. as for more personal things you will see something and it will remind you of her and ul buy it to suprise her. just ask her out for dinner and pick a nice quiet restaurant that caters for all tastes.

relationships with co-workers are bad.
always ends up being awkward.
just be yourself if you want to take it further.
