Please, nothing rude. I want a haircut that's in style, and something that can be preppy and also scene. I already have bangs, and my hair is a little longer than shoulder length. I want to keep most of my length, however. Any help? Pictures would be wonderful, thanks =]

I have "scene" hair. Haha. I hate that analogy, but yeah.
What I've done, is just had my friend whos a genius with these kind of haircuts, just cut long layers into my hair almost creating an A cut but not taking a lot out. Towards the back, at the top its only about 3 inches long so I can create a bump to make it look like I have loads of volume. But with layering it allows me to to still have long hair all the way around.
I mainly left the sides long (little past my shoulders) and swipe my hair to the side which also goes with my side bangs.
I love this style. Easy to maintain and ponys look cute because you have pieces that fall out but you can still get most of it up.

Go to www.matrix.com & click on hairstyles. The styles are divided by hair length and have excellent photographs w/ 360 degree view.

I think straight bangs that suit your face type and hair cut straight across is a really clean, versatile look. You can put your hair up in a preppy ponytail or you can have a messy updo.

Part your hair on one side and keep the bangs covering your eyes. Dye it darker. Get lots of choppy layers and make sure the back is shorter than the front.
