I would like an addition added to my entry porch. Aprox 6' x 8' with full width steps and tin roof. Any one care to supply the brawn and tools for this undertaking -- if I promise to stay out of the way!?! Oh, cash job.

Check your local newspaper for handymen. Make sure that the person you hire is licensed. Also you may need a building permit from your township.

Make sure you ask for references. also if the contractor is not able to do the job without any money down, avoid them. Don't attempt to let anyone do it without a written contract.
