I went to a party with this guy I'm dating and it was all his friends and I got along with a couple of people pretty well. After drinking I'm not remembering as much as I should, one being giving my number away, but I got a call from one of his friends that was there.
This is the message he left "happy new year, I had good time at the party. I would love to hang out with you sometime. so ya call if you want do something or chat sometime."
So is this a test or something and should I tell my boy?

It's not a test. Real men don't test thier gfs. Just tell the guy you're dating. Worst case is that you exposes how 'true' his friends are. Perhaps your bf is losing interest in you anyway (no offense). His reaction will be the key.

I understand how drinking heavily works. Unless you are alcoholically unconscious and passed out and close to death under some table or corner somewhere. No one has memory loss. You gave the guy your number because you wanted to. So, you might as well call him. I mean if you are worried about the guy you are dating, believe me you said this party were with all of his friends; he probably already knows you gave your number out. Shoot, if you were really interested in the guy you're dating no matter how drunk you were, you attentions would have been plastered on him.

This is not a test. You're giving men too much credit. His friend thinks your hawt and would be fun to hang out with or more.

Don't tell your boy. It's his friend. He doesn't need to know. Just don't do anything if your in a monogomous relationship.

Could be a test, two problems.
1. He does not have loyal friends if it is not a test
2. If it is a test, it is kinda mean of him to do that to you, testing your loyalty to him.

I would tell him his buddy called you and see what he says. That way if he has a disloyal buddy you brought it to his attention and if this was a test, even though that is shady, you pass!

P.S. Don't give out your phone#, boyfriends do not appreciate that, I am sure you would feel the same way if he gave out his.

Don't call him back and cut down on the drinking when around his friends.

It was a test, the party that is. You didn't pass. He already knows.

Don't call him back. It could be a trick or someone trying to interfere

If you can't control yourself with alcohol in your system, don't drink.

your boy should not be "testing" you... you should trust each other without having childish games to make sure...
