I met someone online... in fact, from an online game. lol. He was my brother's friend though.

We talked online for a month and got to know each other. Then we finally met. I've never been so nervous in my entire life. But everything went fine!! We had a good time. We were together for about 4 months or so. I knew the whole time he was going to be moving thousands of miles away eventually... soon. But I really liked him and thought I would give it a chance. So I did.

It was a long distance relationship mostly. I was out of town for college and would be back on holidays and breaks. I broke up with him mainly because he was moving away and our lives were going in different directions. I figured if I ended it now, we both wouldn't be so hurt in the end. I also realized that my feelings for him weren't as strong. Breaking up was the hardest thing to do.

We are still great friends till this day!! We still talk online and on the phone and get along great. I'm so glad I met him. I will never regret that. : }

Yes, I met my girlfriend online. We had taken some time to get to know each other online and on the phone before we met. We met in a public place where some of her family was around the first time. Safe to say it went well, because we've been dating (long-distance) for over two months now.

yes I am and the first meeting should be at a public meeting place (movies or dinner or coffee). It was pretty easy because you already knew quite a bit about them from talking on the net and phone. I like it more than picking out someone at a club or such.

No....I always figure everyone on line is some fat, alone, middle aged dude in dirty underwear getting off on pretending to be someone else....like a hot chick ....

But then I also believe the government is secretly recording my thoughts..

I did and I don't recommend it. This guy turned out to be a complete loser.
