Has anyone out there had trouble(or been refused) getting an Australian working visa because they had a criminal record? (spent or unspent).
Would like to hear from those especially who have managed to get around this?
Thanx

Not sure when i went backpacking i got my working holiday visa in about 2 weeks (but i don't have a criminal record).
Depending on what its for and how long ago you got it, depends on whether your visa will be approved. But leave plenty of time as it will take a lot longer than the recommended 4 weeks.
Australia is one of the strictest countries when it comes to immigration. You may be best speaking to the australain embassy at australia house in london.
Good luck - i hope you get your whv approved soon
