im having braces soon and i need help choosing a colour...
i wanted black and pink but im not sure if the black will look like i hav gaps or somthing
so can you suggest any good colours from experience?

Usually the brackets are metacllic silver. The bands you have put on can be any color you want and you can change the color every time you get your braces tightened. Usually about once a month. So be creative. Do whatever colors strike your fancy.

hello, im 12 too and i got my braces when i was 11. I got colored ones, and they work out great, especially when your young. DON'T GET THESE COLORS THOUGH: yellow-makes your teeth look yellow black-makes your teeth white and white-it fades after time, so far my braces have been easy peasy lemon sleazy, :) i haven't cried once about it, and when i first got it i didnt think it hurt a bit, plus im a little sap, but it was easy for me! hope this helps, plus dont trust the other people it DOSNET hurt if you get colored braces. thats pathetic! :D -lizzie.

are you talking about the bands? If so, no black doesn't look bad at all and they don't show stains. Clear and light colors do tend to show stains. If it is a dark pink and black I think that would look good. (They change the bands once a month and you can change colors everytime.)

My kids used to use colors appropriate for what ever holiday was coming up...orange and black for Halloween, green and red for Christmas...you get the idea. Just be creative and have fun!

i think u should have white color braces if they have. there's a possibility tht people won't notice ur braces (its just a suggestion)
and i think tht black is much better than pink.

You can have what ever colors you like, you will either have clear or metal brackets. because you will be having the elastics changed on a regular basis, you can have fun and change the colors everytime.

my daughter has braces and she changes her color constantly she has also had the pink and i think its cute so why should you choose just keep changing them you'll have them for a while anyway !

umm.. i have braces and what i usually do is pick out braces that will match your clothes or just wear you favorite color
