We have a male boxer pup and I am wondering how much does the average weigh. I have already read in books that they are around 55-65 lbs, but I have never honestly seen one that is that big! I work with dogs and I don't think I have seen one more than 50 lbs. Does anyone have a bigger boxer?? The reason I am asking is because our new townhouse requires a weight limit on pets, and my schnauzer is 14, and we can't go over 60.

My male is a large boxer, weighing 90 lbs. and my female is average but still weighs 60-65 lbs. Both are pure muscle and no fat. If your dog is well behaved maybe your landlord will "give or take" a few pounds and not make a fuss. keep your fingers crossed....

You are s.o.l. ---sh!t out of luck there is now way in he!! YOU are going to make weight with those two dogs sorry! a Boxers weight is useally determinded by the parents ,if the are large then the pup is going to be large .on average a Boxer weighs about 50 to 65 lbs ,SORRY!

Boxers weight is very deceptive. They may not appear "big" but are very muscular and thus often weigh more than they appear. Also, 55-65 lbs is not a big dog anyway; it just all depends on build.

my boxer pup is 10 months old and is already 64pds , 6 oz. and she ain't done growing her mom and dad weigh in well over 110 pds and the vet says her mom and dad r in great shape . my dog that is the vet says to back off her she is going to be to big and i want be able to breed her as well . mom and dad and my pup baby is all registered
