Ok, my second tattoo is on my back, and I unfortunately under all the stress lately have gotten acne, again. So im getting a few places on my back, then I noticed bumps on my tattoo. Im assuming this is ok, but truthfully my stomache dropped when I noticed. Its gross, and Im trying to make it go away, but im just worried it will do something to the tattoo, or anything else horrible my mind could think up.

Its 100% normal...Sometimes your tattoo years/months later acts like its having an allerigic reaction, causing little pumps to appear, and sometimes the tattoo becomes raised, and hot.
As weird as it sounds it happens to everyone....
Just make sure your not over treating it. Use non-alcohol lotion.

I have acne prone skin myself, although I am 26 (not a teenager) but I just got a tat on my upper back two weeks ago. With all the washing and lotions I put on it for healing I have also some some bumps and pimples on or around my tat. I just keep cleaning the tat and taking care of it as normal and they are going away one by one, so I wouldn't worry about it.

no it is normal, one of my exboyfriends had the same problem it will go away it just takes some medication and time you can get the acne lotion used for your face and just put it on there nothing will happen to the tattoo b/c it is permenent so i hope that helps!!

the worst that will happen is if your skin scarrs from the spots that your tattoo will need to be touched up

Your tattoo should be fine. Just don't pick at it and you'll be okay.
