im 16 and neva had a proper boyfriend and have just moved to a mixed school for sixth form. im brown and asian, really im the minority of the girls because they are blonde and popular. they have alot of confidence and i dont but when i do speak to guys they give me the impression that they are too shy to talk but then stare at me alot at school if im generally walking with my friend at school, i feel uncomfortable and shy the next time they are near me and cont make a proper conversation. why do they do this and ignore me?? do they like me or jus stare?

you must be pretty, i used to have men stare at me alot when i was younger and it was because i was pretty. Men are shy too, and if you are pretty, it is harder for some to approach you. stop thinking its about your ethnice background alot of men fancy darker women, alot of blonde men fancy asian women, i am blonde and i know because i find dark men attractive expassilly from the midddle east, and i know alot of blonde women do. So lighten up girl just smile, expassilly at the pretty boys.

It's human nature to stare at someone or something that is different from the norm. People are generally afraid of the unfamiliar. It will pass as those people get used to seeing you and realize you are just as "normal" as anybody else. You probably are attractive and stand out among the others anyway. Beware of jealousy problems from those blonde girls. They're gonna act like they hate you. Especially if the boys are attracted to you instead of them. Just be yourself. Are you pinay? Really it's hard to tell exactly what's going on in a guy's head if he's staring at you. I guess it depends how they look at you or if the same guys do it frequently. It sounds like they may stare because you are "different" looking, but it also be because they like you. Maybe they just don't know what to say to you and that's why they appear shy. Try talking to them first maybe, and just asking basic things like how are you and what's going on..stuff like that.

Don't be scared of da popular people there the ones who are scared of you!! boys are just like that don't worry, they could possible like you but most guys want girls to make the first move so next time your next to them or something just pretend that your stuck on the work or somthing and try and aragne a little test study together or something.

they may think you are a bit different ot the norm if you are in the minority.
it may be that you have a face like a cats backside....
it maybe that you are really pretty.
i would think its the latter as nobody is laughing at you. so have some confidence !
and for a change.....................
why not start a conversation with someone..... it goes both ways you know!

Well maybe because your beautiful and they don't know how to walk up to you and introduce themselves to you. ALso they are just curios about you and what you like. There are alot of different reasons they stare at you. But one it's because your beautiful. SO wnat to know more just IM me anytime.

maybe they just like you but get the impression that they are making you uncomfortable. u need to be moe confident but if you really dont like the attention, tell them that you're not interested

you have to make an effort to at least talk with them ....I know its hard but at least smile and say hi..if they didnt like you then they would just totally ignore you...when people are shy it can make other people feel uncomfortable because they dont know what they are thinking so just appear friendly.

either you are very beautiful, or very strange to them, that they have never seen an Asian before. Maybe your friends can tell you which is the case.
