Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. It will not harm in any way ur breast fed child or u.

You are burning more calories by breastfeeding so you will be more hungry. Just eat a sensible well balanced meal. When you are hungry don't eat empty calories but eat foods that are good for you. Be sure to drink plenty of water and try to get some exercise. Load the baby up in the stroller and take a good walk. It may take a while, but eventually you can lose the weight if you work at it. Remember it took you 9 months to gain the weight during pregnancy, it will probably take you at least that long to lose it.

Congrats on the new baby!!!! I know it's harder than people think to be a breastfeeding mom. It' alot more work for your body than plopping a bottle in the babys mouth. You're body will natrually be more hungry because it needs more calories to keep up. However, eventually it will get better and you'll start to see yourself slim up quite a bit faster then you think. It's kinda like your reward for being such a great mom!
Hang in there. No matter what, you can always diet after you're done bfding. What you're doing now for your baby is SO important!! Believe me, you'll miss all of this when your little angel is running away from you to avoid a diaper change, or coloring on the walls.
((((hugs))))

You are actually on the right track of losing weight! Breastfeeding is the only way a mother can reduce her tummy. Feed your baby for atleast a year and you would naturally lose weight, while your baby grows robust and healthy.

Do not be afraid to eat while you are hungry. But please eat nutritious food with lot of fruits and vegetables. Also drink plenty of water.

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

I had a friend that breastfead her baby and she would go out and jog in the morning or at night. She dropped her weight really fast. I'm sure if you start hitting the pavement you will too in no time at all.
