As a pilot, have you seen a change in the nature of jet contrails over the past 30 - 40 years?

Yes, there would be differences in the nature of contrails of high flying aircraft. Engine technology has radically changed in the last 30-40 years. Today's engines have huge improvements over older generation engines in terms of efficiency, and therefore, engine exhaust by-products. CO2, NOx, and water emissions, along with exhaust temperatures are significantly different than they were 30-40 years ago. This is due to increases in combustion temperatures, increases in the bypass ratio of turbofan engines, and improvements in combuster technology.

But more importantly, you need to get over this stupid "chemtrail" conspiracy stuff.

If you want a bit more credibility, you can also blame global warming for this. :)

there's no such element as chemtrails. each and all of the paths you notice interior the sky are made up of water. some deplete speedy and others slowly, yet this is by technique of climate and atmospheric situations, to no longer the composition of the contrails themselves. they are in truth only clouds, in different words.

I am not a pilot, I'm a dog, but a contrail usually breaks up pretty quick, a chemtrail hangs around for a long time. On days where there are so many chemtrails criss crossing in the sky, I have noticed a rise in people who get allergy like symptoms

No such thing as "chemtrails".

Contrails are weather dependent, so can change accordingly
