I have recently been diagnosed with 26 environmental and 9 food allergies? I am taking the allergy shots for inhaled allergies, but all I can do about food is avoid it. How long do I have to avoid these foods?

It really depends on your age. In a child there is a chance that they will outgrow a food allergy. In adults that chance is much lower. The only thing you can do is strictly avoid those foods. For my food allergic kids I have them allergy tested yearly to see if they have outgrown anything. So far they have not. If a test ever comes back negative I will schedule an in office food trial. Doing a food trial in the doctors office assures you prompt medical attention should you have a reaction.

Yes they can, but not always. I had few allergies throughout high school but later they went away. My cousin on the other hand, developed some allergies at 14 years old and 12 years later, she still has them. Just be patient, maybe they will go away for you as well.

I don't think food allergies do, especially if you're diagnosed as an adult.

Sometimes (but not too often) you can outgrow food allergy.
