They certainly seem to act like they do. Is there some written rule in the Bible somewhere that you have to be a Republican and support President Bush blindly to get into Heaven? Have i destined myself ot Hell by voting Democrat?

LOL Bushie and all his "followers" would make you think that way! Vote however you want to vote, basing your vote on "how moral" someone is etc. and not on other issues that REALLY impact the country would make you a one-issuer voter, don't fall into the lap of the religious right. Think, read, etc. then decide how to vote, never be a cow following the herd! Be you! Vote Democrat if you want to. Our Founding Fathers strived for a SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, don't let Bushie undermine that!

i understand this does not incredibly answer your questions, yet i'm responding to a number of the solutions: Do you adult adult males study any of the rubbish which you talk or do you purely stick to the liberal media and liberal college professors like sheep? "Tax breaks for the prosperous"? Why do no longer you supply an occasion? because of the fact whilst the dems talk approximately this undertaking - do you already know what they are touching on? The dems desire the prosperous to pay extra taxes; they experience that the extra you're making the extra tax you will desire to pay. actual, you get punished while you're making it huge in this u . s .. it quite is bigoted (and that i'm no longer prosperous, so i'm no longer being biased approximately this undertaking). all people would desire to pay the comparable share of taxes, however the dems do no longer desire that to take place. they desire to tax the prosperous with severe rates and tax firms much extra. whilst firms are noticeably taxed, we finally end up paying extra for products, and since the firms have much less funds, we get much less wages and reward. Now to respond to your question, no the republicans do no longer very own the concept-approximately Christianity. no person does. it is purely that there are extra Christians that are republicans. and you will desire to be extra particular once you're saying "... they particular have a no longer person-friendly time using it". while you are going to make the style of blanket assertion, a minimum of back it up so as which you will get a suited answer. Oh yeah, and by skill of ways, being Christian does no longer mean being suited. It skill which you have self assurance in Jesus Christ.

I just checked in a Bible. Didnt see any Copyright GOP or Written by President Bush in it. So i would say NO.
But in a sense you are right. There are some conservatives who do act as if they own the rights to the Bible.

Geez, for the hundredth time, no. Why is this question asked on here every single day?
I'm a Christian, but I disagree with Bush on a number of things. So do about 90% of all the other Christians I know.
One minute, Bush's followers are wealthy big oil investors. The next minute, his followers are poor uneducated Christians. What will it be next time?

The term "Republican" is used to define a large group of like-minded people. These people have strong beliefs and values, such as conservatism, small government, accumulation of wealth without interference, and...yes...certain christian ideals.
You need not be republican to be christian, nor need you be christian to be republican. The two happen to go together often, though.

In the same way...you need not be in the NBA to be tall, and you need not be tall to be in the NBA.

Actually, more and more Democrats are coming out and talking about their faith, because they've so long been accused of not having any. Just because they can separate their religious beliefs from their political beliefs doesn't mean they don't have religious beliefs.

No! No! No! You go to hell if you don't believe in Christ and accept Him as your personal Savior. You also go to hell if you do not what Christ asks you to do and follow in His footsteps in going against His will.
