If you put it on the top of your head I would consider that a no-no. Try putting it lower and not literally on the side of your head. Just a ponytail lower and to the side looks elegant usually.

do u mean one side or both? if u mean one side:well,they are a BIG no-no,on most pple they look positively revolting.if u mean both sides:they look cute ,and give a school girl kind of appearance.but they depend on yr age,if u are too old,u can look disgusting and look as if u r trying to look young when u aren't.but forget whatever i just wrote.b urself,and wear what U like and what U think suits u and forget about eveyone else.dont b too consious about whether they r in fashion or not ;)

Just one side? A fashion disaster...unless it's 1982 again.... Both sides? always looked cute on some people regardless of what's in or not...but note I say SOME people....usually the ones who wear them shouldn't.
