The motivations of the Euro-Christians were screwy. They conquered for God, gold, and country. They didn't care what you were religion-wise, hence the loss of so many traditions to human history. Historically Christianity is such a sad sad religion because it felt no other religion was deemed good enough to survive. Another reason is that most of the indigen. populations were no match to the might and arms of the invaders, they brought disease and guns that wiped out the native peoples. Small pox was a big killer, native peoples had no immunities. So many religions, customs, languages, etc. were lost at the hands of the invaders. :o(

Every country that has been invaded suffers whether the invader was "Euro-Christian" or not. Go to the library and check out a history book.

because, usually when a foreign people invades another the indigenous culture suffers. as far as euro-christians specifically, not every christian has their head screwed on right if ya know what i mean. people in history have made a lot of mistakes. it is our duty to learn from their mistakes and not repeat them.

p.s. the christians of today are not culpable for the mistakes of christians in the past unless..... they repeat the offense.

Because we are warlike apes. The indigenous people of all countries suffer, even when the invaders come from other continents. That's kind of what an "invasion" is.

all countries suffer during invasions
with the long history of migration and invasion the only indigenous people are the Eskimos ( this is a fact ) ( and yes they did suffer from the invaders but they were Asians from across the strait )

Because they demand that they conform to the Euro-Christian civilization. So when Europeans complain about America, remind them who made this country.

Because the established 'Church' was wrong. They deviated VERY far from the teachings of Christ.

The leadership was very power hungry and filled their coffers in the name of God. They killed in the name of God to expand their control over other people. Just because they called themselves christian doesn't mean they were right.

You see, they tried to make the kingdom of God in their image instead of waiting on God to establish his true eternal kingdom.

Its a sad but true fact.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
