I don't believe there was an Ice Age. I believe that some comet or inter-stellar ball of ice came to near the earth. It shattered, dropping ice and water on parts of the earth. This ice was much colder than the ice at the poles. It was close to absolute zero.

This is the only explanation for the quick frozen woolly mammoths that are being found today. There is no process known that could freeze an animal of that size instantly, other than immersing it in liquid nitrogen, or some other super-cooled liquid.

How could the Ice Age, which implies a change of climate do this? This is the primary source of the water in the Flood.

As to how Australian Aboriginals got to Australia, at one time, the continents seem to have been connected. For some reason, they broke apart.

And no, the Australians didn't build the Ark, but they know about it.

The Bible was written by Jewish scholars in the last centuries BC. They didn't know anything about the ice age, the native Americans or the native Australians. The Bible is not a science book, or even a history book. However, it's theology book, and that's how we should treat it.

If we grant that a great flood could have happened, why have scientists found no trace of it? Perhaps they have, but they interpret the evidence some other way. For example, orthodox science teaches that the surface of the earth has been shaped in many places by powerful glaciers during a series of ice ages. But apparent evidence of glacial activity can sometimes be the result of water action. Very likely, then, some of the evidence for the Flood is being misread as evidence of an ice age.

Similar mistakes have been made. Concerning the time when scientists were developing their theory of ice ages, we read: “They were finding ice ages at every stage of the geologic history, in keeping with the philosophy of uniformity. Careful reexamination of the evidence in recent years, however, has rejected many of these ice ages; formations once identified as glacial moraines have been reinterpreted as beds laid down by mudflows, submarine landslides and turbidity currents: avalanches of turbid water that carry silt, sand and gravel out over the deep-ocean floor.”

Well... it could be that the ice age was right before the flood. When the ice melted... viola! a flood.

Makes as much sense as the rest of the bible.

The bible does not record any ice age. The Bible is not a record of every thing that has occurred to man or has occurred in nature. the Bible is God's word of what he feels we need to know. We cannot handle all of the knowledge in the universe. We cannot even handle all of the knowledge about ourselves. What the Bible gives us is what we need to know about sin and salvation. Forays into other areas are pointless.

According to the bible none of that happened. Around 6000+ years ago god spun the earth, universe and everything in it out of nothing in 6 days.

When was the ice age in the Bible?

Genesis 1

1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

The last ice age receeded about 10 thousand years ago, thats when modern civilization began. All continents were populated by 6 thousand years ago. They simply walked across the frozen water, or maybe boated beside it. God said He would make a "highway" for them.
