You are a real sweetie. Your parents are so lucky to have a child like you. My parents always loved getting a gift card from a nice place to eat. I stayed and took care of the home, while they went out and enjoyed that meal. Tell you parents how lucky you are to have two such wonderful parents, that even words can not say how proud you are that they are your parents. While you are doing this, have one arm around each parent. Look them straight in the eyes, a big hug a kiss on the cheek, means more to a parent than any expensive gift. While doing this, notice the eyes, they will get very moist, it will touch their hearts.

Make up a coupon book using the computer and graphics.
Make 12 coupons (one for each month) with things like.....
mowing the lawn or doing some landscaping
picking up the dry cleaning
detailing the car
washing the windows
cleaning out the garage or the basement
taking care of the dog for a weekend while they go away
They would like this more than something you went to the store to buy.

Buy them dinner for 2 at a restaurant they enjoy, or wrap up some jr mints and a bag of microwave popcorn with either 2 tickets to the movies or some free movie rentals...it's the thought that counts anyway!

If you have younger siblings, offer to babysit so they can go out on a date together. Clean the bathroom, do the dishes for a week. tell them you love them and appreciate them. Give them a card. Parents are happy with any expression of appreciation from their children...

First of why do you want to do something nice for them, wats the occasion, i mean... And if you are making money then you can save up for a cruise for you parents. Other than that i would just go shopping (not a big fan myself) and just look through a couple of stores and pick stuff out.

You could send them on a vacation somewhere nice, or if your on a "Tight Budget"........Then just get them a nice card telling them your thinking of them and a "Gift Card" to their favorite stores, you know...... Or, take them to a nice restaurant, and allow them to order anything on the menu, and just listen to them and what all they have to say, you know.... Or, you coud have a little party for them, and a "Caterer" come with lots of deliscious foods!! And tell them its a "party to show them how much you love & appreciate them!!" Just for GP, as our family would say.. good-luck getting ideas!! Have Fun!! Smile!!!

Can you cook??? if you can cook try cooking them a nice meal. They will appreciate being able to relax! Also you could try doing more chores so they dont have to. Also just try telling them with the words 'i love you and do appreciate you' (something like that !!) sometimes when kids turn to their parents and say thanks for everything you do its really appreciated. Hope these ideas help!

Clean the house, wash the car, bathe the dog - all kinds of things you can do, that they would really appreciate. You sound like a great person.
