Those answering by stating "no one can know the day or hour" are mistaken. In fact, there will be many people, perhaps thousands, who will know the DAY He will return, but not necessarily the hour: believers during the Tribulation. (By the way, this is one of the best arguments FOR a pre-Tribulation Rapture: because the Second Coming's date CAN be calculated, Jesus MUST have been referring to another event when He stated that "But of that day and hour no one knows." Matt. 24:36).
Daniel 9:27 tells us the Antichrist ("the prince who is to come") will sign a peace treaty with "the many" that lasts 7 years. Half way through the 7-year period, he will break the treaty. This will be the signal for the Jews to flee Jerusalem (and all of Israel) for Bozrah, probably Petra.
At the mid-point, the Antichrist will end the daily sacrifices and desecrate the Temple by setting up an image of himself that must be worshipped (Matt. 24:15, Mark 13:14, Revelation 13 and 14).
Daniel 12:11-12 reads "11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days." (The 45-day period between the Second Coming and the "blessing" of those who wait is known as the "Intermediate period," during which time the "sheep and goat judgement" will occur, the Temple will be cleansed, etc.)
Daniel 12:11 tells us there will be a 1,290 day period (3 1/2 years) measured from the "abomination of desolation" to the return of Jesus.
Therefore, only those who are alive during the Tribulation and understand the signs will know the date He will return. Unbelievers will be blinded to this fact.
As to time of day, Zechariah 14:7 suggests Jesus' return will "at evening time." That's as close to a time as anyone can know.

Scriptures did not even give us the year nor the month day or hour. Scripture is clear that we do not know when he will return.
Two Quick References:
"Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come." Mt. 24:42
"Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." 1 Thess. 5:1-2
Scripture is not so difficult that you need to decode it. Both of these passages make clear that we do not know when he will return. Yet both of these passages will instruct you to be obeident to God because you never know when he will return. You need to be READY, not getting ready!

No. The Scripture plainly states, "Be ye therefore also ready. For in such an hour as ye THINK NOT, the Son of Man cometh". In other words, it's coming when we least expect it. We are told of a SEASON, or general time of His return based on "signs and wonders" scattered throughout the Bible, especially in Daniel and Revelation, but the day, month, and year are not specifically revealed to man.

Crazy Horse's post is from the Quran. They say Jesus is coming back, but only to worship Mohammad.
The Christian Bible says nothing about the year Jesus is coming back. Daniel does give a vague timeline, but no specific numbers are given.

The Bible has never given a specific year as to when Christ would return. In fact it states the opposite (Mark 13:32-37); no one knows when Christ will return, but He does command us to watch for it...

No. Jesus specifically states that only the Father knows the exact time of his return. Anyone that gives you a date is a liar.

There is NO specific date or time listed on Jesus' return. The Bible states that not even Jesus knows when that time is, just God himself. This why we must always be ready!!

Yes
Here they Are!!!
Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).
2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.
3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.
4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.
5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.
6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.
7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.
8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.
9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.
10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.
11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.
12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.
Wahoo!!!

The book of Daniel gives a timeline but this is still a subject of debate among Bible scholars.
