Here is a little trick that really worked for me, only if you are willing to spend a little bit of money for the greater good :) Buy yourself an ipod, or other MP3 device, one that will be easy to use during a workout. If you have a radio at home, you can also use that to play music. Either way, purchase upbeat songs that will be great with working out, but make sure you really love the songs! Then, do not allow yourself to listen to the songs unless you are exercising. If gives you a little bit of motivation and it makes the time fly by. I used this technique and it worked very well....until my ipod broke at least! haha! Hope this helps

First, find a gym that is close to you and join. Make sure there are fun classes that you might see yourself doing like yoga, kickboxing or aerobics. Make a schedule of when you'll go--pick some classes or a routine that you will stick too. And most importantly, ask someone to join you. Having a work out buddy always works. Schedule times to meet at the gym--you'll be less likely to cancel your gym appointment if someone is relying on you!!

lol - this is where I should listen to my own advice!
I got a pilates tape and although it seems easy when you do it - you'll feel it the next day. Cost nothing more than the price of the tape. And it doesn't take a whole lot of time, so it can probably be fit into your schedule. Good luck!

Set a goal for yourself. For example. Weigh yourself and then say that once you reach a certain point, then you will do something good for yourself.
Example:
Once I lose 20 lb, I will go out and buy myself a new purse/ice cream/go to the movies with my friend/etc.
You will feel good once you accomplish this goal.

It's all about self motivation. How bad do you want to look the way you want? Just picture your goal and go for it!

Do something more fun then, such as dance or skating? Or try a twist board for ab workouts, and work out to your favourite tunes!

I hung my bikini up on the wall in front of my treadmill. It helps.
