And I need some help. I need gift ideas.

What do you get a woman who let horrible things happen to you as a child...while she looked the other way??

One who deserted you at age 19 and left YOU to raise your 2 younger sisters?

One who has constantly been a disappointment, not only to me but to her grandkids as well?

I'm kind of pissed about this...and I don't know what to get her...

I was thinking...hmmm....

Maybe some toilet paper...for the crap that is constantly coming out of her mouth? Or maybe some kind of gift certificate to a parenting class?

I'm totally tapped on this one...come on people...help me out...

These are all awesome answers. I'm not a kid anymore...34...but I appreciate the help instead of dumb comments about my boobs.

give her some loose change so that next time she gets engaged, she can call someone who gives a sh*t.

The toilet paper is a good one and perhaps a 5 x 7 framed picture of herself since she seems to be the only one she cares about.

Don't go to her wedding and don't bother with a gift. She knows she's still controlling you because you're acting out on your anger. Just act as if her getting married has no affect on you either way, ignoring her will get to her A LOT more than getting a negative reaction from you. I'd even bet that she thrives on ticking you off.

Buy her a diary. Fill out as much of it as you feel to, touching on all the areas that you did as an outline to this question and develop the plot a little, so it becomes a sort of autobiography...then suggest she lend it to her latest 'fiance' as a pre-wedding read to let him know what he's getting into.
That ought to give her a good idea of what she really needs: a conscience! Good luck, kid...

Toliet paper or a ********* the size of a fire hydrant so she can't crap on anyone else.

All joking aside, what you went through was wrong, but you did make it through it and you did well by your sisters and now children. For that and the humor you have brought to us out here I wish you peace and happiness. Thanks.

Just give her a thank you card. You are now a better person by NOT following in her footsteps. She was a role model of what NOT to be. She did you a favor by not staying around and polluting your mind, and for that, be thankful.

I think an appearance on the Dr. Phil show should be the best gift.

I truly like the toilet paper one...!!!

Can't think of anything more appropriate, unless you want to throw in a plunger also....
