Apparently a fatwa is a possible consequence but since people can even buy fatwas in India (this is a poor witness) then it appears Islam suffers from a severe problem of no accountabilty as does Christianity.
Is there no respected Muslim willing to take the Bull by the horns and denounce this abuse of scripture, or is there such a large amount of hate and need to be vindictive that Islamic peoples are truly not capable of disaplining their own.

Even when they do speak our you need to understand what Taqiyra is. They may say what they don't mean. The ones who believe in violence will not hesitate to say what ever want and not worry about its being true and they justify this from the Koran. I wish many would speak out but when this is taught how can we believe any who speak out?
PS Don't shoot me this info comes from American congress for truth. I am asking how we can believe what they say if this is true.

They usually DO denounce this stuff, but for the very reasons one doesn't generally jump up on a podium and beat their chests to denounce Bush publicly (not many people in life like winding up getting themselves tossed in jail), or other factions within this country that do things under a fake "cover" or religion. I'm sure many don't want to wind up on the nutjobs' collective hitlists.

Why are some moderate Christians afraid to denounce the use of the bible as a reason to be violent? Even though there are many instances when God said it was ok to do so?
