I appreciate all the help. My problem however, is with a jacket she is wearing, one day a teacher makes her take it off the next day no one says anything to her. What, if any, are the requirements for jackets specifically and where would I find this documentation?

Any garment which exposes a student's midriff or has a love bust or back line will not be allowed dresses, skirts, shorts,or any such primary garment must be a minimum of fingertip length.Boxer shorts will not be permitted as a primary garment. Shirt must no longer than wrist when arm at one side. If longer then the shirts must me tucked in. Pants must be worn at waist. Hooded sweatshirts are permitted if they meet the above stated criteria. if not they must be removed. 2. Head gear may not be worn. no Hats, Caps, head band or hair nets. Sunglasses and dark glasses, unless prescription are considered. 3.No gang related attire such as bandannas and clothing with vulgar, profane, obscene or derogatory messages. or messages concerning illegal substances or alcohol. 4.Extreme styles of hair or hair color; body, facial, and or tongue piercing: or tattoos will not be allowed. 5.Students are required to wear shoes. You should have that information in your child's student handbook that is handed out at the beginning of the school year.
