No one can answer - it depends on you and your mother in law. My son and his wife live with us now because she prefers living with me to her own mother and she lives only 5 min away. Actually my son drives me crazy more than she.

Well it was definitely hard. I wouldn't do again. Its hard living in a house with someones parent. As a parent, I think they believe they get the right to make rules. I lived with my mother in law for 3 years and I was dancing out the door when we finally left.

NO. but i think if u treat her like yr own mother, talk to her like a friends, make something that she likes. Share some experience together, dont act like you are too smart. Be real about being a woman, For sure u gonna get along quite nice. I did try that, and we did get along very nice, matter of fact, she loves going shopping with me rather then any of her daughter.

Yep, when my husband and I were first married, we lived with his parents for about....a month. His mother is, let's say...difficult, and it was a horrible experience. Come hell or high water, we will never live there again! Obviously, I wouldn't recommend it.

it all depends on the relationship you have with her.
i will never move in with my mother-in-law but my fiance's first girlfriend still lives with them...
makes you wonder doesn't it.
