Does anyone else use dead sea products? Would like to know what you think about them. I use Sea Spa. Does anyone have any other brands to recommend or any information on where to purchase the products at a lesser cost?

I've used a brand called SeaOra for over a year now and it's simply a great find for me! I haven't heard of Sea Spa that you mention, but if you are asking do Dead Sea products work - my answer is yes they do - at least for my dry skin on my face and arms/hands. I use their body butter and I like it much more than Body Shops - body shop's butter is way too waxy and feels like I'm applying vaseline.

the seaora butter on the other hand does absorb quickly but I can feel the moisture for at least 4 to 5 hours after applying before heading out for work.

the salt scrubs are good too for a good exfoliation, but be careful if your skin is very sensitive as it may burn slightly.

on their website they also have people who claim it's helped their acne and Psoriasis, but I have neither so can't confirm.

Here's where I buy the seaora brand that I mentioned: http://www.cleopatraschoice.com

Boots carry a good selection of Dead Sea products (I think they're called Dead Sea Source but am not sure), anyway the bigger stores should have them and my friend loves them!

I used both the Dead Sea Body Butter and the Dead Sea Body Salt that has mositurizes and oils that you rub on your body when taking a shower (sorry, I forgot the exact name). I much prefer the The Body Shop body butter (cheaper, also) over the Dead Sea Body Butter. The Body Shop body butter leaves my skin feeling really soft and not dry, oppose to the Dead Sea Body Butter it seems to just soak in my skin and then that's pretty much it (a waste for me). I do like the Dead Sea body salt because it smells really good, it leaves my skin feeling baby soft, and I then have no need to apply any type of lotion whatsoever. Good luck!

i have always heard that any products made from dead sea or sea salts are actually not good for the skin. both do have sea salts in them. salt dries out the skin. i've been using a line called of spa products that are made of all natural products - no artificial coloring, scents, additives - all natural. www.prtoylady.com then click on spa products.

Ahava is a quality product line. See the URL for more information. My daughter, as well as several people she knows, usually asks for the hand lotion when my husband goes to Israel. Their product is sold in the U.S. in various stores, but, you would normally pay full price. My advice is to google Ahava and look at various websites that may sell the product for less than retail - this is an example, but, I in no way am endorsing this site (http://www.deadsea-cosmetics.com/). You could also try ebay.

I've bought the moisturizing lotion from Marshalls before. If you look in thier skin care section and search really hard, you can probably find a few different ones. I think I usually pay 3.99- 5.99 for the moisturizing cream that I buy.
