If you where in Palestine

What would you do to that person who has shot and killed you Mother and Farther, your baby brother or sister in front of your eyes and you are the only one who has survived.

Will you say: I forgive him/her, if so then your not a human or don’t love your family.

It is obvious that no one will stand and breath properly until they get revenge for what somebody has done to there life.

YOU DON’T KNOW UNTIL YOU EXPERANCE IT.

What do you say you would do?

That's not true. And it's an unfair judgment.
I have seen many accounts of people (who are very human, by the way) who have an inconceivable capacity for forgiveness of the horrible acts of other human beings. It doesn't mean they didn't love their families, and it doesn't mean they don't grieve tremendously. But, somehow, some people seem to be able to move on without hatred in their hearts for those who commited the acts and without a need for revenge. They actually say it's the only way they can continue their lives.
I don't know how I would personally be. I suspect I would be just the way you describe. I would be filled with hate and out for revenge. I think that's probably the most common reaction, right or wrong.
But, it's not fair to say that those who are capable of living without hatred, without being consumed by thoughts of revenge, are somehow less than human. I kind of think they are actually somewhat super-human, elevated more than I, because I would not be able to do what they have done.

well thats what terrorism and brutal violence is all about. You think you are doing something noble by doing exactly what was done to you..how are you then different?? You are not. In this country, the US, we have a high murder rate because we are free society that does not restrict its population. But people who have had a family member murdered do not then go on a murder rampage. Try having a government that can punish criminals rather than trying to justify more violence. Its why Palestine looks like a junkyard, everyone is interested in killing and bombing someone. Maybe get some higher national goals would be a good thing.

A difficult question, but the answer is to forgive.Whoever is in that situation would probably want to go for revenge but if you seat back for a second and allow your emotions and grieves to relax you might start to see things differently, don't get me wrong i am talking about the humanely people because they will always be no matter the circumstances. In the court of law there is nothing like revenge and secondly the only person left in the family is still capable of pursuing justice in the right way. Finally if you go for revenge the family name will be doom forever. My question now is who will be there to tell people?i mean the horses mouth!TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE

What you describe is an horrific nightmare, but, this is not a useful question, more a rant. People who experience violence of this nature need help, not exploitation. The problem is they are ripe for exploitation, and may well be exploited. Many people who say they would exact revenge, would if confronted with this situation would simply want to crawl into a hole and die, they might even kill themselves.
You are judging the situation without experience, life is often different to fantasy.
You got one bit right, 'You don't know until you experience it'.

It is this continual cycle of endless violance that leads to the mess we are in today. Although I see the point to what your saying, by taking revenge where will it end? Solving the cause of the voilance stopping the horror would be a much better way of remembering the lost and righting the wrong? Not just for this generation but the next.

What I believe I would do is likely different that my actions in the heat of the moment.
I would like to say that I would forgive them, for it is not my job to punish. I would like to believe I am strong enough to find it in my heart to forgive them, and feel sorry for them, as their soul will likely be tourted, beyond any physical pain. I don't believe that I could willfully take a life, so killing would not be an option........but, who's to say how I would react....in the heat of the moment.
I know in my rational thinking right now, that killing them would not make anything better, it would not make up for my loss, it would not bring anyone back, and added to that, I would have to deal with the emotional burden of taking a life (deserving or not)

I don't know when you were declared the expert on how people should or should not react to situations. Some people believe in forgiveness, there is nothing wrong with that.
Go get your revenge, only I hope you get taken out along the way as well! We don't need anymore people like you who have no idea what these situations are like, telling people how they should handle them. Your opinion is worthless to anyone with any intelligence.

I would kill as many of the people that killed my family members as I could. I would kill and continue to kill until I was killed myself.

That is why there will not be an enduring peace between Israel and Palestine.

If I was running Israel, I would have rolled over Palestine years ago. Crushed them into the dust. Fatah, Hamas.. all Palestinian "Freedom Fighters".. they're all terrorists in my eyes.

Revenge would be my first inclination-though I don't think I could actually kill anybody. But who knows how far I'd go in that situation? I'd like to think I wouldn't sink to that person's level-but I would want to make their life a living hell!
